Results for The Beijing Spring 2018 Invitational | 10-11 of March | Dulwich College Beijing

This tournament has attracted some of the top high school debaters from international and public schools in Beijing and beyond. To break at this tournament it took a 2-2 record with at least 108 high/low speaker points. We would like to thank all debaters who have participated. An AGD representative will contact all participants to congratulate them on their performance. NHSDLC Novice National Championship - 21st to 22nd of July - Shanghai

We are pleased to announce that our partner league the National High School Debate League of China is hosting the second annual "China Novice National Championship" for middle school students. This is open to all students in grades 9 and below, regardless of their language status.   This tournament will take place from the 21st to 22nd of July 2018 in Shanghai. This tournament will include 4 preliminary rounds of debate in the Public From style for all participants, followed by elimination rounds.  We aim for this tournament to be not just a valuable competitive experience and a opportunity for students to meet their peers from a variety of backgrounds. But also to provide students with a foundation of experience for their future debating careers in high school and beyond. International Division - NHSDLC National Championship 2018 - 4th to 6th of August 2018

We are pleased to announce the International Division of the 2018 China National Debate Championship. Each year, we co-host the International Division of the National High School Debate League of China's National Championship Tournament in partnership with the NHSDLC. This tournament will take place from the 4th to 6th of August 2018 in Beijing. This tournament takes place every Summer in Beijing, and each subsequent year has broken the record for largest tournament ever hosted in Asia, with over 500 participating students last year. This tournament will include 7 preliminary rounds of debate in the Public From style for all participants, followed by elimination rounds. Last year, the International Division featured students from more than 50 schools and 15 countries including China, Korea, Japan, Mongolia, USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Australia, Bangladesh, and Jordan. Beijing Spring 2018 Invitational | 10-11 of March | Dulwich College Beijing

The Association for Global Debate is pleased to invite you to the Spring 2018 AGD Beijing Invitational Debate Tournament, hosted on the 10th-11th of March at Dulwich College Beijing. The tournament will feature: An optional training session on the Friday evening with our experienced coaching staff;  Four rounds of Debate on the Saturday March 11th, where all participants take part, with a break for lunch provided on site. Elimination rounds on Sunday March 11th.  The AGD’s team of debate judges and coaches includes a former American national champion, a former coach of the largest debate team in the US, two prolific debate organizers from the London debate circuit, former American national runner-up, and breaking speakers and judges from the World Universities Debating Championship, European Universities Debating Championship, Asian Universities Debating Championship, Asian Schools Debating Championship, Cambridge Intervarsity, Oxford Intervarsity, Durham Open and Imperial College…
